Specific solution content

This solution takes “Internet of Things location technology + vehicle positioning terminal + vehicle electronic module” as the core to build a comprehensive fleet management system, the details are as follows:

1.Real-time positioning and status monitoring module

Each vehicle is equipped with a GPS locator (supporting BeiDou dual-mode) and multi-dimensional automotive electronic sensors. The GPS locator collects real-time vehicle position data through satellite signals, achieving positioning accuracy within 1-3 meters. This data is transmitted via 4G network to the cloud-based management platform, which displays the vehicle’s location on an electronic map in real time. The system supports viewing both live trajectories and historical tracks, allowing users to review any period within the past three months.

The vehicle’s electronic sensors continuously collect real-time operational data, including latitude/longitude coordinates, speed, steering direction, mileage, ignition status, load weight (measured by a weight sensor mounted on the chassis), and fuel level (detected by a tank-mounted sensor). This data is transmitted in real-time to the cloud platform. The system automatically flags abnormal conditions such as low battery voltage, excessive speed exceeding limits, or payload weight exceeding the approved limit by 10%, triggering immediate alerts.

2.Team group management module

The cloud management platform is equipped with grouping function, according to which enterprises can create different fleet groups according to transportation routes and task nature (such as “material transportation” and “personnel pickup”).

Each group has a dedicated administrator, who can view real-time data of vehicles in the group, dispatch vehicles, and send tasks in batches (such as sending transportation routes and unloading locations to drivers in the group through the platform, which drivers receive through on-board terminals or mobile APP).

3.Driver management module

Establish a driver information database, input the driver’s name, ID number, driving license number, driving license validity period, driving type, violation records, training records, attendance status and other information, support the upload of driving license scan, set up automatic reminder 30 days before the expiration of the certificate (through three ways: platform message, SMS and APP push).

Combined with GPS locator and on-board video monitoring (vehicle electronic equipment), the driving behavior of the driver, such as sudden acceleration, sudden braking, speeding, etc., is recorded to generate a driving behavior scoring report. Drivers whose score is lower than 80 points are required to participate in safety training, and the training record is updated to the database simultaneously.

4.Vehicle information management module

The vehicle information file is built, including license plate number, model, chassis number, engine number, purchase time, insurance validity period, annual inspection time, maintenance records, etc., and supports the upload of driving license and insurance policy scan. The platform will send reminders 45 days in advance according to the insurance and annual inspection expiration time.

The system integrates vehicle maintenance management functions, automatically generating maintenance schedules based on mileage (calculated through GPS trackers) and usage duration. Schedules may include options like “Every 10,000 km” or “Monthly check-ups”. Upon schedule generation, reminders are sent to both administrators and drivers. After completing maintenance tasks, users can input details such as service items, costs, and service providers to create a comprehensive maintenance record.
